Clackr gives you something useful to read while you practise typing. The passages cover accounting, audit, tax, law and business, so a quick typing break can also be a little revision. Practise on your own, race the bots or invite a friend.
How to practise
Pick a subject on the home page and open the Practice Arena. Take a moment to read the passage. The clock starts with your first key, so there’s no rush to begin. Correct mistakes as you go; getting a line right is more useful than rushing through it. At the end, you’ll see your speed and accuracy. Your browser keeps your recent results so you can see how you’re doing.
Want a tougher round? Turn on No-Mistake Mode: one typo ends the run. Leave it off when you’d rather take your time and work on the keys that trip you up.
Learning with short passages
A short passage can help you recall an idea, but it can’t explain a whole topic. Our library includes samples and brief summaries, not a complete CA syllabus. Use your current official study materials for exam preparation. These exercises aren’t accounting, tax or legal advice.
